Morsenger
Decode, Encode & Learn Morse
Decode Morse from your microphone or audio files, encode messages with authentic tones, and master the code through an interactive telegraph key and hangman game.
Free for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. No ads. No in-app purchases.
Decode
Listen through your device's microphone to decode Morse code signals in real time. A scrolling waveform timeline shows signal activity as characters are recognized. Import audio and video files to decode recorded transmissions. The decoder auto-detects frequency and words-per-minute, adapting to noisy or imperfect signals.
Encode
Type any message and hear it rendered as authentic Morse audio. Export recordings in Apple Lossless format or share directly via iMessage. Stealth mode shifts the tone to near-ultrasonic frequencies for silent transmission.
Telegraph Key
An interactive key turns your device into a working telegraph station. Use touch, mouse clicks, or keyboard input to send Morse with real-time audio feedback. Your transmitted characters are decoded and displayed as you key them.
Game
Learn Morse code through a hangman-style game with word and phrase modes across multiple difficulty levels. The game draws from a curated library of over 1,500 WWII military messages, making practice both educational and historically grounded.
Practice
A dedicated practice mode lets you study letter by letter. Tap the play button to hear the correct dit-dah pattern for any character, then build speed and confidence at your own pace. Flashcard mode hides the pattern so you must recall it from memory.

Dedication
In honor of Zachariah Witt, U.S. Merchant Marines and the U.S. Army M.A.S.H., and Albert E. Turay, 4th Marine Division — who served their country with distinction.
And in honor of Captain Joseph J. Rochefort, USN, whose codebreakers at Station HYPO gave the fleet its edge at Midway, June 1942.
In memory of HMS Hollyhock (K64) and her crew, lost 9 February 1942 in the Java Sea — one of many small ships and brave sailors who gave everything in defense of freedom.
With appreciation to the National Museum of World War II Aviation and its dedicated volunteers, who preserve the legacy of those who flew and fought so that future generations will never forget.
In gratitude to every American and Allied service member, past and present, who answered their nation's call. We remember those who gave everything, and we honor those who carry the watch today.
